My main focuses are the study of versification, computational linguistics and stylometry. I received my PhDs in Literary Theory (2012) and Mathematical Linguistics (2019) from Palacký University Olomouc and Charles University in Prague respectively. Since 2011 I work as a researcher at the Institute of Czech Literature, Czech Academy of Sciences (head of the Versification Research Group since 2017).

I've joined the Comic Verse team in 2020 to help with the coding and natural language processing tasks. I am a member of the Plotting Poetry steering committee and of the Prague Linguistic Circle.
